WOYWW

Good morning all. Can't believe it, Wednesday again, they seem to come round so quickly. I have neglected my blog over the last couple of days I have been busy scrapbooking.

As it is Wednesday it is time for WOYWW. If you are wondering what it is all about pop over to Julias. These pics are of how I left my craft space last night. I have cut most of the titles for the scrapbook I am currently working on. Most of them are cut on the Storybook cartridge with a shadow background. BH has been helping me sticking them together.

One of the double page layouts prepped up

trying the title out for size

A lot of the pages are finished most just need the finishing touches, the bit that takes all the time, but also the bit I love most adding all the embellies and most of all the bling.
Enjoy your day see you later Lynne xx

Magnolia Copic Card

Morning all, it is a very wet miserable Saturday morning here in Sheffield, not very nice at all. It is not going to bother me though I will be scrapbooking, again. Had a lovely time yesterday scrapbooking all day with Sandra and we are going to do the same again today :-) The 12 x12 album that I am working on for a 70th birthday present is coming along a treat, even though I do say so myself, my customer doesn't mind me sharing a few pages with you. So I will show you how it is coming along tomorrow.

This morning pictures are of next Wednesday nights Magnolia Copic card class. There are still a few places left if you would like to join us.

That's all for this morning, I have a scrapbook waiting. Enjoy you day and hope it is not as wet with you. Hugs Lynne xx

It's Friday!

Good morning all, its Friday again. Yay! I know I say this a lot but where has the week gone? Don't the days just fly by? It will be Crimbo before we know it. Yes, it is only 4 months away, 133 days to make the cards, do the shopping and all the rest of the prep. I send over 100 hand made Christmas cards every year. If I got started now and made one card a day I would be ready. But you know what? I just know it won't happen, I have all these good intentions, come December I will be burning the midnight oil and as the big day get closer it will be mayhem in our house, tis every year. OK well thats enough of my ramblings, well at least for this morning.

So what have we been up to this week in the studio we made a tag bag

I drew the shape on a piece of paper to make a template, when I was happy with the shape I then cut 2 out in greyboard. The shape is just under 6" one 12 x12 sheet will cover one bag. I have used Bo Bunny Love Shack. After covering the bag I inked the edges with Adirondack Lettuce. I cut some pockets and tags on the Expression for the inside to put some photos on. Punched a few flowers with my large daisy punch added a Sugar Nellie gorguss girl and some heart bling to finish off.

What every you are doing today enjoy and if you get time to fit in some crafting why not try our challenge.

Thank Crunchie its Friday. Hugs Lynne xx

I apologise for not getting round to everyone's desk last week I was late joining in on Wednesday evening and managed to visit a lot of desks on Thursday after that blogger was acting up. I could get on some blogs, although unable to view pics or leave comments... whats that all about? Has anyone else had this problem or do you know what causes it? It has had me pulling my hair out this week!

What ever you are doing today enjoy.

(a slightly bald) Lynne xx

Aaaaarrrghh I am unable to load my craft space pics so I will try again later, sorry. :-)

OK I have had a cup of coffee and a walk around the garden, now I am calmer I will try once more and then I am giving in!

Some WIP this week half finished pages for the 12 x 12 scrapbook ablum and a box of pics waiting to be scrapped, there are more but they are not going to load this morning, and I am not one to give in!

This week bargain buys from Wilkos Mini Sharpie pens 4 for £1.79 and you can choose your own colours, how good is that?

I did buy some more but unfortunately blogger just isn't playing ball this morning so this where I scream, spit and hiss and given in!!

Hope you are having a better day. Like I said earlier it can only get better, can't it?? Please say yes! :-)

Graphic 45 Le Romantique

Yesterday I spent the day scrapbooking. Here is a pic of one of the layouts I created.
It is not yet finished as it needs mounting on some green backing paper and the title and journaling. I have placed the layout on cream paper for taking the picture. The papers are all Graphic 45 from the Le Romantique collection.

I have been asked to make a 12 x 12 scrapbook album for a ladies 70th birthday present from her three daughters. The photograph is of the ladies parents on their wedding day.

I have used an Ice White Viva pearl pen to add dimension to the brides pearls.
Cut the roses and leaves from a sheet of Loves Labyrinth from the same collection and decoupaged with some silicone decorated with Stickles along with the butterflies and lace on the wedding dress.

Hope you are all having a good weekend. Lynne xx

For this layout I have used my favorite Bo Bunny papers from the Jazmyne collection, again. These papers are so yummy scrummy I just love them.

T!ms tattered florals alterations die for the big flower. MS punches for the centres and butterflies and EK Success leaf punch.

Ice white pearl pen for the centres of the flowers and Zva Crystals bling in green to finish off.

Thank Crunchie it is nearly Friday. Lynne xx

Just a quick post this morning.

Yesterday when I used Mr Linky on Julia's blog for WOYWW my name didn't appear at the bottom of the list, so I refreshed the window, still not there....linked again and it appeared twice but the first one links to Julia's blog not mine!! don't know how I managed that one, but must have been easy though!! drrrr ... lol

WOYWW

A bit late I know but I thought I would show you what's been on my desk today, and it is not my work. I had to go out today and my DD looked after the studio for me and when I got back this is what she had been making, remind you of anything you have seen here recently??? lol

It was great to come back and find her crafting, she loves scrapbooking and very rarely finds the time. |We have arranged to have a crafty day together on Monday, which I am really looking forward too.

Love the colours in this one.

I will get some pictures on Monday of the finished albums.

If you have never heard of WOYWW, where have you been all these weeks?? lol
you better pop over to Julias to find out more.

WIP using patterns...

I thought I would show you some WIP first a page that I have used some of the old dress making patterns on. It only took a very small amount to cover an A4 page. If you look closely you can see where it reads 'FRONT BAND'. The layer underneath is old book pages, which shows through nicely in places.

I have also used some Domestic Goddess Graphic 45 papers mixed with Simplicity from Fancy Pants, lettuce ink and acrylic paint.

As you can see there is lots more to do on it yet.

Another WIP a cover page for another art journal

The title is made using letters from an Idea-ology salvage sticker book more Grahic 45 papers this time Jabberwocky from Hallowe'en in Wonderland, which are truely fabby.

Another busy week ahead, so it might be a while before you get to see the finished products. Hope you have all had a great weekend. Thanks for stopping by. Lynne x

1 down 2 to go...

Just a quick post tonight, well this morning as it is nearly 2am and I need to get to bed!
There just don't seem to be enough hours in a day, I am sure someone has nicked a few of mine, about 6 in fact. Do you ever feel your days are getting shorter?

If you visited on Wednesday you might remember seeing 3 word albums all taped up ready for decorating, and if you have a memory like mine you might not. rofl

This is the picture from Wednesday (WOYWW)

and this it what it looked liked covered with yummy limited edition Bo Bunny papers from the Jazmyne range. As you have probably already guessed I just love these papers.

and here it is in all it's glory

complete with lots of ribbons, flowers and bling

It is now coming up to 2.45am and I need to get some shut eye as I have another busy day, ahead. Thanks for popping by have a great weekend hugs Lynne x
